Quick Battle
Quick Battle is a mode where you can go one-on-one with a AI of your choice. You are able to pick any character you want to use, and any opponent to face; providing you have unlocked them in the PP Catalog.
This is a great place to level up, gain AP, items, and accessories. It is truely worth the effort of playing, not to mention it allows for a detraction from the story mode.
The first thing you will do is select the character you wish to use. At this point in time, you can change their equipment and summonstones.
Next you will choose the enemy you want to face. It should be noted that you cannot change anything on the AI, because its equipment and levels will be set to yours by default. No enemy's level will go above yours. (This of course can be done by unlocking the level caps in the PP Catalog)
Once you have chosen the two parties, you will be taken to a screen similar to the screen above.

In this screen, you will basically set up the entire battle. There are several things you can change in this screen. Some of it might be a bit confusing, so below I have detailed everything that can be changed.
Stage : This allows you to choose which of the battle stages you wish to fight in. Any of the battle stages found in the Story Mode can be used. There are 24 special "Judgment Stages" also that are unlocked in the PP Catalog.
Strength ( CPU ) : This is where you can set the strength of your opponent. You can go from the Very Low (Weak), to Maximum (Strongest). It is completely up to you on how much challenge you want.
Minimal
Very Low
Low ( Actions )
Low ( Equipment )
Average
High ( Equipment )
High ( Actions )
Very High
Maximum
Level ( CPU ) : This determines the level of your opponent. If it is set to auto, the AI will not go higher than your level. You also cannot set the level higher than yours, unless you unlock the level caps in the PP Catalog.
Behavior ( CPU ) : This will dertermine the tactical behavior of the AI. Basically how they will go about fighting. For example, Calm will set the lowest amouonts of times they will attack. Vicious means just that...vicious!
Tactician
Valiant
Survivor
Cautious
Calm
Extreme
Conservative
Vicious
Random
The Judgment System : These are a special set of rules that will go through the entire fight, and will affect both you and the AI. They are not difficult rules, but they do add a bit more challenge to the fight.
Cosmos Judgment
Merciful Touch - When near death with much less HP than one's opponent... ...the EX Gauge is completely filled!
Retribution's Path - If Break gives the foe enough BRV to win ... ...Summons are restored!
Chaos Judgment
Invitation to Destruction - When enough time has past from battle start...both players critical hit rate and damage dealt is increased!
Coward's Punishment - When a player refrains from attacking for too long... ...his movements are halted for a short time!
Double Judgment
This opens both Chaos and Cosmos Judgements into the battle. This is the highest challenge of the three.
Once you have chosen what you want, you will go into battle. and that is about all there is to it. when the battle is over, you can select rematch, or return to any previous choice menu. This is also where you can gain mass amounts of levels using the Cheat Method. There is no bad points or anything if you lose in the Quick Battle, nor do you lose anything. Just go in and have some fun!
